Learn and Grow Child Care Center offers a fun, educational, and Christ-centered environment where your child will get the attention and care that he or she needs. Our ratio of children to teacher is lower than state guidelines to make certain each child receives top-quality care.
We are a state licensed child care facility that exceeds all health and safety guidelines. Our classroom sizes are small, so we can provide quality care for each and every one of our children on a daily basis.
At Learn and Grow Child Care Center, your child will participate in developmentally-appropriate activities throughout the day, such as:
- Circle Time
- Center Time
- Puzzles and Games
- Arts and Crafts
- Pre-Reading Activities
- Prayer circle (for preschoolers and pre-k classes)
- And much more!
We teach weekly Bible lessons in each classroom to help children come to know and grow in Christ. 😊
Preschool classes and toddler classes will provide weekly and/or monthly lesson plans to ensure parents can and will encourage learning at home as well. Our goal is to make learning fun and exciting!
Infants will be taught by the Developmental milestones chart. Their main focus is to learn to develop physically as well as mentally through all the stages of infancy. Our teachers take the extra step in making sure each and every infant receives the quality care he/she deserves. They help infants develop their language skills, motor skills, and social skills with a variety of activities.
Toddler classes will use a lesson plan geared to develop skills in language, gross motor, fine motor, mathematics, and social/emotional development. Their lessons will be either weekly or monthly. Repetition ensures that children are acquiring the knowledge needed to develop further skills. Their primary goals are learning shapes, colors, and numbers.
Our Preschool and Pre-K classes will use a lesson plan geared to develop skills in reading, writing, mathematics, fine motor, gross motor, and social/emotional development. Their lessons will consist of some class activity and some social activity. They will be learning letters, numbers, writing, sorting/grouping, building blocks as well as lessons that focus on visual, reasoning, feeling, and understanding. This gives your child a good overall knowledge base that prepares them for kindergarten.
You can rest assured that your child will be cared for with the utmost kindness, love and respect. We believe all children are precious gifts and we treat them as though they are our own.
